Congratulations to all the competitors who took part in this year's Glasgow-Edinburgh Double Marathon! It was a great effort throughout the field with Marcus Scotney setting a very impressive time over the new longer course. Last but not least was Clare van den Bos who made an amazing effort in her first ultra marathon, and all for charity. I hope you have all recovered and are ready for your next challenge!
Photos from all of our checkpoints, start and finish will be uploaded soon. If you have any photos you wish to share please email James at resoluteevents@gmail.com and we will add a link.
Thanks to our sponsors Run 4 It for all their work and to Mule Bar for their delicious treats! Thanks also to British Waterways, Edinburgh Quay, Glasgow Council, Edinburgh Council and St Andrews Ambulance.
For those of you up for more we hope to have the inaugural Highland Ultra Marathon up and running this year with a proposed date of the first weekend of September. Watch this space for updates and more information.
